Walter da Silva presents Audi TT Design Development

The Audi TT is a sports car produced by Audi since 1998 in Győr, Hungary. The TT was first shown as a concept car at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show. The design is credited to J Mays and Freeman Thomas of Volkswagen's California design studio.

The production model (internal designation Typ 8N) was launched as a coupé in September 1998, followed by a roadster in August 1999. In August 2004, Audi announced that the next-generation TT will be made of aluminum and would go into production in 2007. A TT concept (the Audi Shooting Brake) was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2005. This concept featured angular styling and a "shooting brake" 2-door hatchback body style.

The TT was nominated for the North American Car of the Year award for 2000. It was also on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 2000 and 2001.

Ford Mustang Giugiaro Concept

In 2005, Italian car designer Fabrizio Giugiaro, from the world renowned Giugiaro car design family, went to the Ford Motor Company with a passion to design a future concept inspired by the fifth generation Ford Mustang. As the styling director of Italdesign – Giugiaro S.P.A., Fabrizio is continuing the Italdesign design tradition known for his bold designs for Fiat, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen, Mazda, Lotus and Bugatti. The original Giugiaro, Giorgetto, was instrumental in designing the 1965 Bertone Mustang and the Chevrolet Corvette Moray.

The result of Italdesign’s years of experience in car design and collaboration with Ford is the Giugiaro Mustang concept car that debuted at the 2006 Los Angeles International Auto Show.

Chris Bangle

Christopher Edward Bangle (born on 14 October 1956 in Ravenna, Ohio), is an American automobile designer. He is the Chief of Design for BMW group, responsible for design strategy and conception across all BMW's brands including Mini and Rolls Royce.

Bangle was raised in Wisconsin, and after considering becoming a Methodist Minister [1], attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

Bangle began his career at Opel where he designed the interior of the Junior concept car. He later moved to Fiat where he became chief designer and was credited with the design of the angular Fiat Coupé.

When he joined BMW in 1992, he had little complete-car track record, and became their first American chief of design. The 1999 Z9 concept car marked a departure from BMW's traditional conservative style, and his latter work has caused some controversy among BMW enthusiasts. But his designs have sold, and after being replaced as Chief Designer of BMW by Dutch protégé Adrian van Hooydonk [2], Bangle became the Chief of Design for the whole BMW Group, including Mini and Rolls Royce.
