TVR Tribute

TVR is an independent manufacturer of sports cars in the city of Blackpool, in Lancashire England. The company manufactures lightweight sports cars with powerful engines. TVR is the third-largest specialised sports car manufacturer in the world, offering a diverse range of coupés and convertibles, most using an in-house straight-6 cylinder engine design, others an in-house V8. TVRs are composed of tubular steel frames, cloaked in aggressive body designs.

TVR's two arms include TVR Engineering, which manufactures sports cars and grand tourers, and TVR Power, their powertrain division.

In October 2006, the company announced plans to relocate its vehicle assembly operations to Turin, Italy, with only engine manufacture remaining in Britain.

TVR Tuscan

No other car engenders a sense of occasion quite like the Tuscan. Every journey in this spectacular car is unique and memorable, to which the attention it attracts, first by its low snarl and then by its anomalous design, gives glowing testimony.

The mark II Tuscan is the latest evolution of this legendary TVR. Stunning new lightweight composite bodywork. Luxurious new leather interior. Sophisticated new handling set-up. Same earth-shaking power-to-weight ratio.

Clothing one of the most substantial rollcages and chassis in the industry, the new bodywork has been designed to provide downforce for high-speed stability as well as head-turning looks. The new interior cossets its two occupants in seats trimmed in the finest hides, while there is room in the cavernous boot for two sets of golf clubs and luggage, even with the targa roof stowed.

TVR Sagaris

The TVR Sagaris is a sports car designed and built by the British manufacturer TVR in their factory in Lancashire.

Featuring an all-new design, the Sagaris made its debut appearance at the MPH03 Auto Show in 2003. The final production model was then shown at the 2004 Birmingham Motorshow. Later that year, it was released for public sale at TVR dealerships around the world. Based on the TVR T350, the Sagaris was designed with endurance racing in mind. Several design features of the production model lend themselves to TVR's intentions to use the car for such racing. The multitude of air vents, intake openings and other features on the bodywork allow the car to be driven for extended periods of time on race tracks with no modifications required for cooling and ventilation.

As with all modern TVRs the Sagaris ignores the European Union guideline that all new cars should be fitted with ABS and at least front airbags. Yet, TVRs are not provided with any electronic driver's aids (such as traction control or electronic stability control).

The car's name comes from the sagaris, a lightweight battle-axe used by the Scythians which was feared for its ability to penetrate the armor of their enemies. The car was designed by Graham Browne.
